MP5K Light Bearing Handguard

The Gibbous Outfitters MP5K Light Bearing Handguard allows the use of modern weapon lights while allowing room for a suppressor up to 1.575" in diameter (measured with a Modlite OKW/PLH head) and accepting 3-Lug suppressor mounts. 

The MP5K Light Bearing Handguard offers an ergonomic way to activate and mount a modern weapon light to the MP5K platform with no increase in the width of the firearm.  

This handguard has three mounting holes allowing for two mounting position options when using 18650 light bodies. Using the forward position allows for a reduced shadow when running suppressed. The rear position makes for a more compact form factor when not running suppressed. 18350 light bodies can only be mounted in the forward position and will provide the most compact form factor.

This handguard requires the following which must be purchased separately: a Surefire ST07 pressure switch, a Surefire UE tail cap, and one of the following weapon lights:

• Modlite 18650 or 18350 bodies
• Surefire M300, M600, and dual fuel scout lights (accepting 18650 or CR123 batteries)

NOT COMPATIBLE WITH SUREFIRE SCOUT LIGHT PRO OR ANY SUREFIRE AA BATTERY LIGHT BODIES.
